I am happy to be able to bring more prenatal yoga to Brooklyn this fall.
Brooklyn does not lack for local prenatal classes, but are any of them actually convenient for a working mother? I will be teaching at two different neighborhood studios, at times which are really great for working mothers.
Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6:30-7:30pm.
Classes will begin on September 15th.
I will begin teaching this regular prenatal class at Brooklyn Arts Exchange, also known as BAX. BAX is a local space that hosts artists within its walls, for dance, film and fine art, and now…yoga! I am happy to be able to rent a space from BAX and bring prenatal yoga to my own community of mothers-to-be.
BAX is located at 421 Fifth Ave and Eighth Street. It is behind the RED doors in the” Save on Fifth” building. The reception desk is on the second floor, and you can check in with them to see what studio we will be in that evening.
Another neighborhood that needs prenatal yoga is Windsor Terrace. I will be teaching a Saturday series at Yoga Sole, on Windsor Place. Yoga Sole is owned by a dynamic Brooklyn goddess, Evalena.
The Saturday series runs for eight weeks, and you can purchase a six week package from Yoga Sole. This way you can go away for a weekend, but not lose out on your package.
The class at Yoga Sole will run from 12:30-2:00pm. You can go to Yoga Sole’s website at www.YogaSole.com for more info on the series in Windsor Terrace.
